GM Professional Grade In Motion Tour

Purpose

The GMC Professional Grade In Motion Tour offers dealerships a unique sales/marketing experience to attract customers, address product questions and develop potential sales. The main attraction is unique 20-foot theatre/simulator inside the trailer allowing consumers to actually “experience” riding inside a GMC.

Target Audience

The tour is geared toward consumers who wish to experience the actual feel of driving a GMC vehicle in challenging conditions without having to visit a dealership.

Content

  • The 53-foot trailer features bold GMC graphics
  • Seven passenger off-road riding simulator is housed inside the tour trailer
  • The latest product offerings from GMC are displayed, including the 2007 GMC Acadia
  • Panasonic drop-down LCD TV display showing GMC, OnStar and
    Monday Night Football promotional videos.

Activation
Regional activation typically complements the display’s on-site presence. “GMC In Motion” appears at GMC dealers and special events, such as car festivals, county fairs, home & garden shows.

Results
The tour has provided an exciting interactive experience to over 150,000 consumers nationwide since October 2005. Over 2,000 vehicles have been sold as a direct result of the tour appearances at GMC dealerships.
